Galey Media > It was the summer of 1983, Bob, Anne, Mike and Greg Oehrtman visiting the Millers in Jenks, Oklahoma.

Always one for adventure and economy, Bob encouraged us to accept weekend invitations to join them for time-share and land sales pitches. We joined them and always managed to have a good time -- even if we weren't prime customers!
Galey Media > Some of the Galey family will remember the family of Rayburn and Margaret Cunningham. Their daughter, Eva, married James Thomas Galey in Rushville, Nebraska in 1933.

In early 1961, shortly after the elder Rayburn Cunningham passed away, the family gathered in Whitney. Standing at the rear is Rayburn, Jr., and Elma Cunningham is in the front. Other, left-to-right, are: mother Margaret Cunningham and daughters Doris Gustafson, Eva Galey, Lois Thompson, Elva Mosher, and Geraldine Kritenbrink.
Galey Media > We were delighted when we were contacted in late 2008 by Chuck Leypoldt, whose father -- Woodrow Leypoldt -- was a pastor in Whitney and Crawford from 1953 to 1956. Shown here is the Leypoldt family in 1954 at Chadron State Park. Included in the picture with the elder Leypoldt are children Janice, Charles, Gary, Douglas and Catherine.

Interestingly, another member of the Leypoldt family is now pastoring in Dawes County! Seth Leypoldt, Chuck's son, is at the United Methodist Church in Chadron, and we've heard good things about his work.

We appreciate Charles "Chuck" Leypoldt of Lincoln, Nebraska for sharing this photograph.
Galey Media > Eddie and Clara Clay with those family members who were able to attend the 2007 Hall of Fame ceremonies at Chamberlain. In front (l-to-r): granddaughter Meredith Williams, holding her daughter, Ella; Eddie Clay; Clara Clay; granddaughter Suzannah Bagwell; in the middle is daughter Bobbi Kennedy and her son, Joe Kennedy. In the back row are: nephew Dale Clay; Jim and Alana Axe (Alana is a niece to Eddie and Clara); Eran Bagwell (Suzannah's daughter); and Katie Kennedy, granddaughter to Eddie and Clara. I hope I have all the relationships correct. A delightful family!
